I had two family members as residence. The area my uncle is, for the most part is really good. But if your loved one needs to go into the memory unit, you definitely do not want to take them here. The facility itself is nice and well maintained. However I am very displeased with the lack of interest by the therapy staff in the recovery of their patients. Particularly a current contracted therapist from HTS therapy in greenwood, David Kirkpatrick. I have found the information he has supplied to family to not only be incorrect but also inconsiderate. If I was starting over the process for searching for care for my grandmother I would prefer to find a place that does not outsource their therapists.

They let nurses be mean to the residents there. They need to be respected bc know one wants to be in there.

I have been walking through the Compass Park for exercise for many years. I was informed by a security man that if I did not live in the facility that I was not welcome to walk there. He was very threatening and said he was going to call the local police to “trespass” me from the grounds. How would this “rule” apply to someone that happened to be visiting a resident. I have several friends that are residents and sometimes I need to walk outside for fresh air during a visit, so I’m confused. I feel that there should be signag... read more
