I've had to pay £13000 so far and to be honest there is nothing they can do and I've been informed that i might have to pay more The only time you can get funding is if you are below the £23,000 or whatever savings your parent have. They can't do anything for you untill the CPN or NHS says you qualify. They never get in contact with you. Tried to get help for my elderly mum who had dementia & type 1 diabetes. Paid £5000 for the searches to see if mum was entitled to funding but funding was declined but we could appeal but would cost us thousands of pounds so didn't continue . My mum ended up in a care home for 18 months before she died costing a fortune . Think very hard before you go down the route of contacting this company . A close friend of mine tried aswell but got nowhere but paid £5000 for nothing !!!!
They don't tell you it's going to cost you thousands to actually apply for this, you can do it on your own with out their help. They do find out the information about care and medical needs and make it look good but then they leave you to apply for the actual funding yourself with out anymore help useless you pay more money out. Compass CHC - has been a life line for me. I had never heard of CHC funding, it was a work colleague of my Sisters that brought Compass CHC to our attention. Had a brief conversation about a pending CHC assessment. Rang several times since, lady takes my details and no one ever rings back. Started my appeal today and will have a go on my own. … Always strange how a genuine 1 star review is often immediately followed up by a 5 star review (always a first review) explains in fine detail how great the company is. Must be just coincidence though 🙄
