Do NOT hire Community Tax unless you want to spend thousands, have no progress, and little to no support. They will be extremely communicative until you pay and then, good luck getting a response in any format (email, snail mail or phone). I would give a negative rating if I could. We have been paying them for over a year (about $15,000 in fees) because they keep saying they need more time or more information yet never ever seem to escalate our case. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Community Tax to anyone needing tax resolution services. They were EXCELLENT in both the handling of multiple years of back taxes and extremely easy to get ahold of with questions. Finally, not only did I not end up owing anything ... I ended up with more than 5K coming to me. CC

Update: Community Tax reached out to me about my review and apologized for the experience that I had. They provided a refund of the fees I paid since my experience did not meet their expectations. In addition they offered to do the investigation that I had initially paid for but was not completed to there standards. They also agreed that the initial recommendations were not the best path forward for me and are helping me with the best course of action.
