Those labelled "mentally ill" are more likely to be victims of violence than perpetrators, the vast majority of them are never violent; and anybody can be misdiagnoed so drugs are pushed. Was homeless and to help find a place to live they said they had to be my payee for my ssd funds. They moved me to another town (2hr bus ride/tranfer both way to get back to hometown for appts) and said they would help me: move back to hometown, get into a subsidizing program for my rent. When questioned about these things told there are no programs to help me subsidize and no places in hometown I could afford.
