I have mixed feelings. Good idea - execution leaves a lot to be desired. You'll probably be disapointed if you're a gardener looking to garden. I volunteered with this group through work. I am honored to be part of such an amazing grassroots organization. It's amazing what a small nonprofit can accomplish through community collaboration and volunteer-supported efforts.
The Community Garden has been a place my wife and I have been spending many of our Saturday mornings at for over a year now. In addition to getting to taste the freshest of fruits and veggies (fresh-picked strawberries hit very different) we've also been privileged to directly interact and exchange with our community. We love to meet people at the garden, share harvests and gardening insights, and garner a sense of connection outside of the online space. Thank you for all that you do to make our community gardens possible!
