In my first several years with Community Choice, it wasn't bad. In the last 5 years it continues to decline. Disappointing overall experience and would not recommend. I finally reported to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau to help get resolution.
Was attempting to get pre approved for an auto loan and was called by an employee named Jake Schramm. This process only should’ve taken maybe 30-60 minutes. He would not return my calls and when I did finally get ahold of him he would talk fast and try to get me to hang up so he can email me. So I try the emailing route. 3 hours have gone by and no response. He finally calls me and says he needs the VIN for the car I want to purchase. I give him the VIN within 10 minutes of our call ending and no response for 2 hours. Mind y... read more
TLDR: Joe Hayhoe is the man! My wife and I just purchased our first home, and we couldn't be happier with securing a mortgage through Community Choice Credit Union! Every step along the way, Joe was there to answer our questions and present different options. The sellers of our house said that "having a mortgage through a local lender" helped our proposal stand out amongst the rest. Seriously, give Joe a call!
