A Disappointing Experience at Community Banks of Colorado - Monument Branch On August 11, 2026, around 9:40 a.m., a gentleman stopped at the Community Banks of Colorado branch in Monument simply because he needed to make change for a $100 bill. I love this bank, everyone inside is so helpful. I always love coming back!
Chad Engler, the bank's manager needs a lesson in customer service. I was trying to understand some forms that needed to be filled out for our non-profit. Chad was unable to maintain his professionalism and explain things in a calm, mature way. I would equate his demeanor to 'mansplaning'. Beyond rude and unprofessional, he has lost our business and we will be closing our account. What a disgrace of a manager for this community.
We've been with this local branch for decades, but we're closing our accounts and moving on. The customer service has been less than average for a long time , and now it's just awful. The drive up window is staffed with one person who can't make a transaction at the window. Every transaction is a trip inside. And it takes forever. They're not open on Saturday. Occasionally rude. Always slow. We'll go somewhere that appreciates their customers and is run by professionals.
