Unfortunately, the Cobleskill Community Bank branch was inattentive to my needs and completely minimize my issues. I have zero trust in this institution whatsoever.
I am completely disappointed in this bank today. I've been. A customer for over 5 years, mainly because it's the only local option. I went to cash a paycheck ($100 from a not for profit) it was a business account from a different bank. They refused to cash it, only deposit for availability tomorrow. The employee even said ' I see it says pay, and it's a check, but its not really a 'paycheck'. I'm not sure if she was prejudice against not for profits or the small amount of the pay ($100) . Branch employees are all excellent, but this bank has blown my mind with it's never-current online banking app, which says you have an available balance but when at the ATM you can be rejected & mortified with "insufficient funds". 8 out of 10x app never current. But the biggest annoyance: since shopping at Xmas, this Bank has frozen my debit card WITHOUT WARNING, every single week, even after I confirmed all transactions were legit.
