Community Bank N.A. (CBNA) closed the two branches about two years ago in the nearby small towns in Upstate, NY leaving the towns without a bank. People used the bank. CBNA closed the bank branches around the same time the drug dealers left, maybe a coincidence, but I doubt it. The area always had a bank since the 1800s. CBNA is also involved in a used car scam that elaborately took my Honda Fit 2018 (with less than 38,000 miles) that had no lien. I used CBNA for two car loans that were substandard in percentage. Went and put money in my account and I was shorten $10 in my checking, when I called they said they weren’t going to check until they close because it was only $10! Well to some people $10 is a lot, I’ll be looking for a different bank to go to and I’ll be calling someone that’s in charge.
