Never use the Alfred branch if you have any other choice. The branch manager Beth plaisted is very rude. She will yell at you and treat you as a suspect if you get a fraud. However, when the experian representative is together with me, she has a different face. This is the worst customer experience I have ever had with a bank manager.

Opened an account, did not want paper statements. They told me the account had no fees, then kept charging me for the paper statements I did not want. Then claimed I had to download an app and do it through the app etc etc. No, I was specific when I opened the account, and the rep did it then. We discussed it. The rep also wrote my account number incorrectly, which caused problems later. Great job. Closed my account.
I’ve been banking at Community Bank, NA for nearly 30 years. Though my account originated at the Wellsville, NY branch, my family moved closer to the Alfred, NY branch 16 years ago. I have found that the staff at both branches are knowledgeable, professional, and customer service oriented. Having previously worked in the banking industry, I know how disgruntled customers can lash out; oftentimes due to problems/issues that they brought upon themselves.
