They do not compensate customers when they "screw up" your account. I had an automatic payment set up with my city water, sewer, & garbage pickup. Someone at the bank sent a notice to the City of Ellisville telling them to change my account number and to start drawing my payment out of someone else's account. I spent several hours on the phone and had to make numerous trips to the city hall and to the bank to get this corrected. No one at the bank would own up to this mistake.
