I see that Communities First gives to the community from which they came from. There are so many people who make negative comments about Flint. There are so many people who are decent, hardworking people who take pride in their city & homes. This is a company with two young adults who didn't flee their city, that wanted to make a difference.
We have been to two of their movies under the sky events this summer, and we were so grateful for the free community opportunity to do this! Our kids have wanted to do a drive-in/outdoor movie experience movie for a while now, but it's too costly to do drive in for us all , so this helped us accomplish more of our summer bucket list. Thank you!! They had the best time, and the volunteers were all so kind and helpful! The amount of work and time and funds put into these is not taken for granted...we really appreciate it! We loved our first Movies under the Stars! Food, fun, community! It was great! My only suggestion would be that they prescreen the music played before the movie-a few swear words and adult themes slipped in there. Other than that everything ran smoothly and we had a blast! Thank you!!!!!
Such a fun event for my 2 and 4 year old. We truly enjoyed ourselves and definitely recommend Communities First, Inc. Thank you for putting on such a great event in our city.

My family and I attended both events on the 27th and tonight, we enjoyed them. I think it's a great thing to do for the community just letting families come together and just have fun. The swing dancing tonight was nice, I think the kids enjoyed it also a new style of dance they've never done before.
