If I could give less stars I would. This company randomly showed up on my credit report, the company could not tell me what the money was owed for, called the hospital directly themselves they had no record of me owing any money. Never once received a bill from said hospital that I owed money. 6 years later it hits a debt collection, but I was never even notified of the original bill from the hospital. I gotta be honest. This is my debt so I can't blame this collection agency for the debt I have. When I called they were super helpful and friendly on the phone. They let me make an extremely fair payment arrangement. Never hit my credit report because I responded to them in time when they sent me the letter in the mail. Life is unpredictable. And sometimes medical bills come back to bite us. Mine was dental surgery. But I am glad I can work with this company to make payments rather than having to worry about the dentist bill... read more
This company just popped up on my credit report saying I'm in "collections." I've had near perfect credit for the past 6 almost 7 years. I don't owe ANYONE! When i called, they wanted the last four of my social which I refused to give them because AGAIN who are you?! All they can say was that they are a third party collecting agency. Okay, well... I don't know where you came from nor have I signed a contract with this company.
Seen that I had medical bill that was dated back from 2016 on my credit score and had called them today. Spoken to Erin who was able to tell me all the information about the debt collection posted on my credit score, even the exact date of when it was charged to my account. She was an absolute delight to handle everything and I can assure you that this is not a fraud/scammer company. They've called my cell multiple times without leaving a message. I called back today to see what this was about. Based on my phone number they said they were trying to reach Lori Scarmardo. I told them that was me. They asked me to verify DOB & social & I refused, telling them I do not give out that information over the phone, especially when I don't know who they are.
