I was released from CES yesterday. Dr. Ferguson was excellent. Nurses and staff were excellent, and Dr. Marty Smith was excellent. I love my new magic eyes! (Forrest Gump reference). I will refer everyone interested.
Mono vision eye surgery in February.....took a couple of months for complete clarity. I didn't give up on the hope of seeing perfectly both at a distance and close up! My persistence paid off! I couldn't be happier with my results! I can do things (like swim in the ocean) I haven't been able to do in years because of my dreaded contacts! I recently had cataract surgery with Commonwealth Eye Center in Lexington and am so thrilled I the procedure! Colors are vibrant and stand out like never before. My vision is unreal! Had to wait about 5 hrs first visit, but I understand sometime things don't go smoothly in a Doctor's office. Next two visits were wonderful, great employees. Would liked to have met Dr. Ferguson when fully awake.
It's amazing what I have missed. I didn't realize I couldn't see as well as I am now. I am seeing some 20/20 out of my right eye. An a lot of people don't realize, there's no pain associated with this surgery. Not once have I experienced pain with this surgery. Commonwealth Eye Surgery has done a great job getting me in and out so I didn't have to stress about the surgery. Thank you to everyone here!

Dr. Ferguson did PRK (similar to lasik) over 11 years ago. Just had an eye exam today...20/20 and going strong. SO happy with my eyes! Glasses from age 11-26. So glad to be rid of those! Would recommend Commonwealth to anyone!
