As a foreigner coming to live in Australia, I was attracted by commonwealth ease to open a bank account. You just open online and have to go to the branch to confirm your documents. Easy right? But no. I found out the hard way that you had to book to confirm your documents. Easy, right? No, you can't book online, only in person and all the slots are filled as soon as the bank opens. Amazing customer service, follow-through and friendliness :) The staff were very kind and thorough in assisting me with a deposit issue that occurred yesterday - it was very stressful but the issue was fixed in less than 24 hours! The team was incredibly warm, professional and kind despite the large amount of customers coming in and out throughout the morning!
Talked to a lovely man over the phone that said commonwealth bank west end could help me. The blonde lady there told me there not taking anymore enquiries and the gentleman next to her wasted my time for so long I actually had to ask him if he could help me or not and he still didn’t have a straight answer. My dog could do a better job and with a smile.
