So I’m giving this office three stars because of the inconvenience of the situation only. Ms. Flowers was very helpful and was able to resolve the matter in 24 hours so I give her personally five stars for her quick response time and guidance. Let's just start here, the women who answer the phone in this office are unprofessional! You call to inquire about a bill response "what about it?" Why I haven't recieved a bill for 2021 but this bill sowing delinquent? Response " I don't know ?" Petersburg is known for ripping its residents off from utilities to taxes. Sorry your vague responses don't cut it.
I have been having issues with a DMV hold on my tags from Petersburg City for over 8 mos, but I live in Dinwiddie County & I pay my PP taxes there. My tags expired in August. When I tried to renew before expiration was when I found out about the hold and was told by Petersburg I owed money, but no one could tell me how much, what my PP tax bill # was....NOTHING!!!
