I was involved with an online rental scam and lost over 2000.00 filed police report and started a fraud case in October 2024, got a letter 3-5-25 stating that the merchant denied the charge back and CBT has closed the case. It is crazy to think that a bank can't do anything when the charge came out of my account with them. I do not see how it could be closed with the denial of the merchant when there is a police report and the charge on my account with the bank.
