Absolutely the worst bank to work with. Closing accounts for mom’s estate and can’t get the money out after a month of trying because of Commerce Banks Legal department. No loans, nothing outstanding, straight forward closing accounts and they keep stonewalling. If there was ever a run on banks you would NEVER get a dime of your money out of Commerce. So many great banks out there, leave this one ASAP….if you can. I worked with 5 other banks doing this same transaction without a problem.
$72 in fees because for accidentally overdrawing an account less than $20 is ridiculous. You can call people to sell loans, but can't send a simple notification to move some money between accounts? I guess the $10/month I pay on my separate business account as a "service fee" doesn't cover such things? That's not service, that's greed. Edited to add: I contacted them as instructed in their reply to this review. One week later and they never replied.
Have had great service every time I am there. Very friendly and helpful. I am very pleased and feel comfortable with my money matters in their care. They are all awesome!
