I wrote a check to my husband's account at U.S. Bank and Commerce Bank returned the check to me because they "did not recognize my signature". Commerce Bank did not try and contact me to verify if that was my signature or not. They just returned the check. Now I have check bounce fee from US Bank that Commerce will not reimburse me for even though they were the ones who messed up. Not impressed. Went to one of their Drive In Banks to cash a check written on their bank. Teller said she couldn't cash it and sent us to another branch. Got there and was told since we didn't bank with them it would be a 6.00 charge. As I indicated, this was a check on their bank. We walked out. I'm not sure of they are understaffed everyday, but this is the slowest drive thru bank I've ever used. Unbelievable. The branch manager needs to address this.

All the staff are very friendly and easy to work with.
Commerce Online banking is not a sufficeint tool.The system will display a positive balance and then the next day your account will be in the negative. When it was brought to their attention, I was told not all transactions are displayed on the Online banking system. My response, what's the point? I have bank with Commerce for over ten years and I have never had banking problems since using their online banking service. I would not refer anyone to this bank.
