I wrote a check to my husband's account at U.S. Bank and Commerce Bank returned the check to me because they "did not recognize my signature". Commerce Bank did not try and contact me to verify if that was my signature or not. They just returned the check. Now I have check bounce fee from US Bank that Commerce will not reimburse me for even though they were the ones who messed up.
