Extremely overpriced and refused work after I didn’t agree to their Upsell. Quote ended up being more than the original price and couldn’t tell me why, the shop was arrogant and had terrible communication when I asked why the quote increased they couldn’t tell me why. After agreeing to repair another wheel, they tried to upsell me on bearings but when I told Them I was going to do them myself they refused to fix the wheel or do any of the work that was originally quoted
Comet has become my go to store. Owned by locals who love cycling, and want to see more people on bikes. I have now bought three bikes through them, and have been extremely happy with their service and support.
If you want service don't go to Comet Cycles. This store and it's sales staff are an excellent example of why people are choosing to shop online. I wish we had done so, and not spent our money here. Very disappointed.
Walked in to browse and potentially buy a bike. The guy who "helped" showed me 2 bikes, and that was it for options, didnt seem too keen on helping or even selling. Very poor service, very minimal choice. Still not even sure if they even sell bikes, or if they just service them because the guy seemed confused when i said i wanted to buy a bike. Very weird store. Went elsewhere, and bought a bike.
