Daughter took my car in to have the catalytic converter checked. Was told is was plugged and that they cleaned it out. The car just got worse and on our road trip (900 miles from home), I took it to 2 other mechanics that diagnosed the issue as a burnt out spark plug wire that burnt out the coil. Mark removed the catalytic converter, replaced it with a smaller pipe and that was never the problem.
