I just stopped there and of course there is a sign on the door saying they are temporary closed and suggested I go to another Comerica branch. A engineer from CBRE was there and he told me that they are having building issues. We have been banking with Comerica for the past 30 years, but I’m thinking it’s time to switch as there are barely any open Comerica branches in the metro Detroit area and that is simply not OK. This is genuinely the biggest joke of a bank i can possibly imagine. I finally decided to make the decision to switch to a bank that has features reminiscent of the time we currently live in. The comerica app is so clunky and poorly designed that it is borderline unusable at times, and useless at all times. They dont give you the option to close your account in the app, you need to speak to a customer service rep or go in person to a branch. This Bank needs to be closed. Please do not open an account in this Bank. I am a good customer, I am a businessman, and I warn you. I am very easy to get along with and I travel around two different businesses rating their customer service. My account was messed up multiple times when I opened it in which they inconvenienced me.
