I go to the West Main location in Kalamazoo every week. I never wait long and everyone seems alright at their jobs. This, the Gull Road location, is closer to where I live, so I figured I’d go there today. I walked in as the first person after the guy being served; I walked out after TWENTY MINUTES. Meanwhile, someone in one of the offices - what are they doing? Never use this bank their fees are outrageous and they won't even cash a bond with their name right on it, they tell you open an account and wait 12 months. It's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard, they should honor checks, bonds, etc that come from them!

I have had a personal account for a very very long time. I have direct deposit and typically only use the ATM, but in July 2024 I have had a need to do business banking that require me to develop a more in person relationship with Comerica. It saddens me that they are being forced to close branches, but I understand the times we live in. I recently had to close out my deceased mother’s accounts with Comerica. Tonya at the Gull Road branch was incredibly kind and considerate while helping me to navigate this. She even called to check up on me a few days later. Kindness goes a long way when you are going through terrible times and I am grateful to have worked with someone so nice during the worst time of my life.
