ComedyWorx....Raleigh's Best-Kept Secret! – Stand-up is OK, but it's all "canned", not spontaneous, and often just plain nasty. Improv is totally spontaneous, witty, and SO, SO clever. ComedyWorx is my favorite place to take a date. A good time is guaranteed! The games are hilarious, the refreshments are VERY reasonably priced, and the cost of admission is miniscule! Good place for clean fun I've been to Comedy Sportz/Comedy Worx a few times over the years and have enjoyed their clean improvisation. Some nights are better than other because of this. It is a small setting (less than 100 people) and audience input can be exciting as well.
Comedy! This is a nice comedy club any day of the week. While on business I went in here one nite. They showcase a lot of local talent. Reasonably price drinks and finger foods.
Place Rocks! – Went with a date and made a complete fool of myself with laughter. This isn't a place made up of crude comedy, but uses the comedy of real life. It had moments of pure brilliance and magic, thus I will be returning often. I highly recommend it!
Pretty campy. – The show was cute, but was basically geared to the pre-teen set. There's some great improv comedy out there, but it's not here.
