All of our instructors helped us so much during our Open Water 1 scuba course. Jeremy helped us out in open water and was amazing. Thank you, Lawrence, Jay, Jeremy, and George for all of your help in getting us certified!! Can’t wait to see you again in the water!
Columbia Scuba is DEFINATELY the dive shop to do all of your PADI training and specialty courses. The instructors are amazing and instill safety as the number one priority while still having fun and enjoying the experience. The dive store carries top of the line scuba equipment at great prices. The staff always makes you feel welcome and that they have ample time to answer your questions no matter how busy they are. I've been diving since 1980, and I'd rate Columbia Scuba as the top dive shop I've used.
Can't say good enough things about Columbia Scuba! From Taylor helping me get my kit together and recommendations, to Lawrence getting ahold of PADI to figure out how I needed to handle my lapse in training, having such a clean environment for the confined portion of my training, to Steve and Pam and Christy for being awesome instructors and Christy for being an awesome navigator to the Chewy and Alligator Statues that would've been otherwise impossible for us to find with the visibility conditions. My 16-year-old daughter and I recently completed the Open Water Certification with Columbia Scuba. Although we like the ocean and have been curious about the process, we didn't have any real exposure to or true understanding of scuba diving when we started. That said, Lawrence, Mark, and the rest of the crew were incredible. They take the process seriously to make sure everyone is safe, but they balance that with patience, humor, kindness, and a mastery teaching approach- you do it until you master the skills.
