My kids went to mill creek elementary after going to a private school. Mrs Nunamaker is a poor teacher. She uses her class to teach liberal beliefs (believe what you want but don't indoctrinate an 8 year old in 2nd grade on either side). She talked down on private schools when my son's scores went down which he improved on toward the end of the year.
