This bank beats TD any day of the week! Fast service, low rates, friendly staff, safe environment!
they won't let you cash a check that IS DRAWN ON THEIR ACCOUNT!! they won't honor a check that one of their "customers/account holders" wrote, a legit payroll check and they won't let you cash it becuase I don't have an account there! THIS THIS is exactly the reason I don't have a traditional brick and morter bank. all rip offs.
While Carlos was kind, he was somewhat pushy and repetitive. I came to the bank to exchange $200 in $20's for $1's and $5's for a yard sale. He asked me to send the money and a debit card. I did not have a debit card. I was told I had to have an account. This is absurd. They are a bank, I shouldn't have to have an account to exchange currency. Staff is great! Very helpful and decent people! My problem is the ATM. I’ve had more issues with cash deposits with Columbia than I’ve had with another bank that used to start with a B and now a T, but I switched those accounts to Columbia. The T bank would have an issue once every other blue moon. I’ve only had one experience where the Columbia ATM took my entire cash deposit with no issues. And I’ve only had a couple experiences where the cash that wasn’t accepted the first time was accepted when I hit the “add more.” I us... read more
