I've delighted in exploring (and ordering from!) a wonderfully varied inventory, joining in a cookie decorating class, and delving into enjoyable conversations with staff. had a private event and Anna made sure every detail was covered, Music, beverages, supplies and assistance when needed. My husband and I chose to paint shadow boxes and we love how they turned out! We appreciated Anna’s help when trying to create a scheme or color vibe. She also helped us customize our pieces to make more personal. Looking forward to another class or event soon :)

This is my favorite spot for an event with the girls. Lauren, the owner is creative, easy to work with and inspiring. She has created a unique place for art in Downtown Kalamazoo. There are also fantastic gifts in her shop and her staff is really good with gift ideas. Stop by for a little happy and some art!

We hosted my daughter’s 10th birthday party at Colors & Cocktails and it was a wonderful experience! The instructor was kind and encouraging, the space was perfect for a small party, and all 8 participants produced beautiful and unique paintings. We had a wonderful time and would recommend for anyone looking for a unique and fun party!

We went here for our 10th Anniversary and it did not disappoint. The store was not only cute, but the service was exceptional! Sam was our instructor and she was informative, helpful, and super fun! We will be returning and bringing our kiddos here soon!
