My experience thus far is the Jefferson County district attorney's office hates truth and doesn't care about Justice.

JeffCo declined to prosecute a case of identity theft despite having mountains of evidence including store surveillance, names, photos, and even a text message from the perpetrators (who both had lengthy criminal histories) to me. The Arvada Police Department amassed tons of evidence and I recently received the case with "Decline to Prosecute" stamped across it.
