Pretty bad customer service. Zero notice with a 700 up charge the day before long distance move. Beware of a 20 percent up charge that you are forced to take even though your contract states your max move charge. This charge is for the location of the property which they came to visit to do the quote. Unethical.
I don’t have anything bad to say about Colonial Van and Storage! Granted my cross country moving experience in the past from another company could not have been worse, I felt extremely at ease with Colonial every step of the way during my move from Reno, NV to Miami, FL. They don’t do quotes over the phone-someone comes to your house to visually see what is being shipped and give you an accurate quote which is based upon weight and given to you right then.
