I enjoy how the staff brings in their animals.I like that it has a small and friendly community.My room has views of the deer squirrels who inhabit the area.The recreation staff provides bingo coloring pages as well as loaning library of books.I have found the staff to be friendly and supportive.
I have to give it up to this nursing home and the people at the time of COVID. Their response was the best it could be at the time. And had it not been for the RN (who wrote books) and was working on the night shift inspiring me to be better and wanting more for the patients; I would have been just as depressed. Multiple nights it was few of us and many nights just me and that RN. But we handled it the best we could. I drove from an hour away to work. I was honored to help. My mother in law was there and the next dat everything was stolen from her and she was hog tied in a wheel chair when we got there.
