Colonial Hardwoods is perfect for the individual who wants real wood for their projects! I can’t say enough good things about this business. I struggled for a few weeks to find a supplier of natural hardwood that sold direct to individuals, rather than just contractors. The big retailers like Home Depot and Lowe's sell veneers, but I wanted 100% hardwood to use as a desktop. I gave Colonial Hardwoods my specs, and they did the rest. Great selection of wood at reasonable prices.
Colonial Hardwoods is a local gem. I’m a DIY-er and it can be a little intimidating going to a wholesaler as they often don’t have a lot of time for someone buying a small order. That’s not the case here. These guys don’t discriminate. Show up with your truck/van and tell them what you want. If you’re not sure, they’ll walk you through some options.
