Colonial Folk Art is a place to release your creativity in a safe and fun environment. We strive to help artists of all levels and ages to discover their hidden talents and bring them out. (Of course, we're here to help you just play with clay or paint, if that's what you want to do!) Our open studio is used by local amateur and professional artists and out-of-town guests. We have lessons and do-it-yourself projects, too. All are welcome to this place of inspired exchange.

Wonderful people, atmosphere and all round fun, laid-back place to work with ceramics. Beverly and team are very helpful and make sure you get the most of your pottery experience. I've used many different pottery studios and CFA is overall the best.

Enjoyed a wonderful day of play today. Beverly is so sweet, helpful and patient. Highly recommend you visit if you want to paint, do mixed media, slab or wheel pottery. You can take personal lessons or use the studio space to work on your art. Great options and prices to meet every need. Stop by to visit the art shop to purchase a gift for yourself and a friend. Elizabeth can make anything and creates special orders. What are you waiting for?
The best gallery in all Virginia state, for me the most beautiful art I've ever seen. The dependent is so kind and He well help you in all you need. I recommend the place at 100%
Awesome studio and artist staff. My daughter and our friends went for pottery and have been back several times to learn more and have had an amazing experience every time. Beverly is an exceptional teacher-even to those of us who thought we were art challenged!!!
