Don't waste your time if you're in a rush... Wire cuts take over hour most of the time...... God forbid they have someone run up wire and someone cut it..... Everytime I waste your of my time, and they are over priced.
If you are a homeowner doing electrical work and you are not sure what you are looking for, DO NOT Go to Colonial Electric Supply. They do not have knowledgeable staff or support to assist you or guide you with what you need or looking for. I was very specific of what I needed and they gave me the wrong item/material. Furthermore, they wouldn't let me return it and got stuck with a wire I couldn't use or have no use for. I do not recommend coming here for assistance.
Everytime I come here I wait and wait and wait for simple things. 45 minutes for 30ft of emt is insane and they have no knowledge of any of the parts. Can’t even understand typical trade lingo asked for 4 square boxes and gave me pvc. Never had to wait so long for simple parts don’t stop if you are in a hurry!
These clowns dont know how to drive or answer the phone. Staff member hit and run a friend of mine and left the scene. The company has ignored her and all people calling on her behalf ever since to exchange insurance. Watch out for this amateur hour, joke of a company.
