They’ve made the process of helping our grandparents during their late stages hell. They actively try to find reasons not to help the situation and hold the money needed for regular expenses ransom. Make sure you add a beneficiary before you die. The banks want to keep your money. I don’t trust this place
Sadly incompetent banking organization with a long history of barely working IT that seems to get little to no investment. You might think you're getting small-town/small bank friendly service. In reality they are unable to handle the simplest of tasks other banks can perform easily, and with no fuss.
You would think that for a small bank they would have excellent customer service. However, something as simple as not sending me a postal snail-mail statement is bungled every-single-month. I've been with this S&L for over 20 years, it's sad that they cannot do better because they are such friendly folk. I feel damaged every single time I get one in the mail, it can be dangerous to have personal printed data out there when it shouldn't be.
