Took a cruise on the Colonel Paddlewheel Boat in Galveston, Texas, and it was such a memorable experience. The boat itself is beautifully designed with a classic paddlewheel style that adds a vintage charm to the Galveston harbor. What a bad experience! Paid $711 for a family of five, and we didn't even have a table, had to eat with a plate in hand sitting next to the wall. No service what so ever...you get on board, you are on your own, and start hunting for your table and seat! At this price, I could eat at a fancy restaurant, but only found some crapy fast food with no service. Shame on me for being duped, but only once!

They cancelled the boat tour out of the blue. when we arrived at the boat 20 min before departure, we were told the boat was not going to move. No explanation, no appologies. We were even given an attitude for asking why wasn't the boat going to move. Travelled all the way from Houston for this. when we asked for a refund we were directed to member services where we had to stand in line for 20-25 minutes. In the end, they refunded the boat tickets but refused to refund the taxes and fees!!!
