Collinwood is in my view, the most outstanding nursing home in Dallas the care takers are efficient, kind, helpful, and medically outstanding my wife has been here for almost a year and we could not be happier I heartedly recommend Collinwood Nursing Home
My sons’ father was cared for at Collinwood. He received attentive care with kindness. They saw him through the end of life with compassion. We appreciate the staff very much. Thank you
My father died 3 yrs almost 4 yrs ago due to staff negligence he was on oxygen and they weren't doing the 45 minutes to an hour check up he was in the hospital multiple times before he passed the state was even involved when he passed away if u have love one on oxygen or bi pap or cpap don't send them here my dad lost his life at 56 yrs old
My mother was a patient here for 11 days. The care that she recieved was excellent. The staff made sure that all of her needs were met and she had everything that she needed. The Physical therapist also did an amazing job getting her back on her feet and moving around.
Family member fell and busted her head. Cut her eye and hospitalized for stitches Subsequently received 2 black eyes. Suspect abusive behavior by staff members. Medications found hidden in her food when refused to take. Profanity written on her bed sheets. Personal items such as clothing missing. Clinical staff did not possess skills to care for my family member. Hospitalized twice for infections. If you have loved ones with dementia I don't recommend this facility.
