My mother was here for 52 days. The entire experience was gut wrenching and, literally, traumatizing for Mom and our whole family. My mother was mostly non verbal with advanced dementia, and bed bound. After moving mom out of a group home that mysteriously injured her/dislocating her shoulder we found collinwood. I was there nearly every day. I cannot speak to their rehab practice. But I can speak to their "skilled nursing" practice. The issues begin at the top. I had the pleasure of touring the facility with Carlton today and can say that this is in the top TWO (out of countless) of most warm and welcoming facilities I've had the honor of touring. The staff, seriously, all of them, were kind, engaging, attentive, and genuine. The residents were engaged, everything was clean, and peaceful is a word I would easily use to describe Collinwood. We have been very pleased with Collinwood for our family member. The staff is caring and Randy, the administrator, is hands on, very responsive and committed. This isn't a new facility, but is clean and seems to be well maintained.

Collinwood is in my view, the most outstanding nursing home in Dallas the care takers are efficient, kind, helpful, and medically outstanding my wife has been here for almost a year and we could not be happier I heartedly recommend Collinwood Nursing Home
