Can never go past a bookshop! Nice displays but didn't have a lot of time to browse unfortunately.
I visited today to return a book I had purchased, unfortunately without a receipt, and politely asked if there were any options for a refund. The staff member who served me was unexpectedly rude and patronising, which made me feel very uncomfortable. Midway through our interaction, she began assisting another customer—whom she treated with courtesy—while ignoring me entirely. Shopped here for over a year upon returning to the area. Was told that they had a loyalty system in which you accrue credits as a percentage of your purchases on an ongoing basis. Was not told that these credits supposedly “expire” after 12 months until I went to use them. Extremely disappointing and will not be returning nor recommending. Nothing separates you from your online competitors save for quality customer service, of which this establishment is sorely lacking!
The service is deplorable. A younger brunette worker was absolute rude and disgusting towards us. never will I shop here again!
