Shopped here for over a year upon returning to the area. Was told that they had a loyalty system in which you accrue credits as a percentage of your purchases on an ongoing basis. Was not told that these credits supposedly “expire” after 12 months until I went to use them. Extremely disappointing and will not be returning nor recommending. Nothing separates you from your online competitors save for quality customer service, of which this establishment is sorely lacking!
The service is deplorable. A younger brunette worker was absolute rude and disgusting towards us. never will I shop here again!
One of the last bastions of a quality local bookshop - support them…good range and great staff!
The staff are rude, and given the price of the books you’d expect them to be polite and helpful. They don’t greet you in store, and they huff and puff around you like your existence in their shop is a hassle for them. Will avoid in the future.
