You must have a physical CUNY ID to enter the library at CSI, as the curtesy for visitor access has changed. Food is not allowed, but there are other locations, available outside the library to eat. The Public Safety Department is on duty 24/7 and there is a lost and found. Unfortunately this library is not always quiet but it does have a lot of books to help you study.
It was beautiful
It’s a really great place, But it’s past is haunting. Before there was a library on that location there used to be an insane asylum for children. Called Willowbrook state school, It was known to have very brutal conditions and experiments done on children like on purposely infecting them with hepatitis. I’m just saying this so that the past of this site isn’t forgotten
