College Muscle Movers broke my $800 dining room table and my $500 coffee table and are refusing to pay for any damages, even though I had insurance to protect my belongings! One mover pooped in my bathroom and left stains all over the toilet seat and stains inside the toilet. Both the bed and the coffee table broke not due to mis-handling but because of the particle board construction. Both items had fasteners and laminate pop while we were carrying them and our policies, as well as most moving companies policies, have a damage waiver exception for this type of furniture when it breaks in this way. ************** furniture is efficient and budget friendly, but is also very weak and even with the most proper handling can break easily.Our movers are human and also do need to use the bathroom. Ignored my instructions, moved half my stuff, left my mattress, ignored all my complaints and insisted that every single thing they broke, screwed up, or ignored was because of my bad housekeeping. UNPROFESSIONAL, INAPROPRIATE AND MISLEADING BILLING PRACTICES. I booked CMM for a load only and not only were the movers slow, but they needed constant management to keep on time and keep moving back and forth from the residence to the *** they were loading. I had a good move with this company previously, but they have gone seriously downhill since. My Dad ran a moving company, so I grew up in the business, and know what great service looks like, especially when you mess something up and need to take care of it.
