First, I want to start by saying the movers themselves were awesome—fast, efficient, and they did a great job. I have no complaints about the actual team that handled the move. The reason for my negative review is the poor scheduling, communication, and overall customer experience. My original move was scheduled for Saturday between 2–4 PM. Due to multiple call-offs on their end, no one showed up. Around 4:15 PM, I called to check on the status and was told an operations manager would call me back. That call never came. John at College Hunks was professional, polite, respectful, reassuring, and played a lead role in helping our move be as calm and stress free as possible. In the end he wanted to be sure we were happy and satisfied with our service. His support helped ease a tough situation and forever thankful for all his (and his crew’s) help. Thanks John!!
Movers were over 2 hours late despite this appointment being confirmed over a month in advance. No one reached out or communicated to me about the delay. I had to constantly call the coordinator for updates. The move ended up being super rushed through. We only had time to move over the bigger furniture and boxes I had. Brandon and Juan helped us with a clean-out and moving some furniture pieces for staging. They were so helpful, professional and positive to work with. I will definitely be calling for their help on my future client projects.
