I paid a $200 deposit on July 11 and scheduled my move with College Hunks for August 21. THREE DAYS before my move I was informed that they had “ceased operations “ and couldn’t do my move. Now they won’t even refund my $200 deposit. Dealing with them has been a nightmare. Strongly recommend against hiring this company or their franchises.
If we could give no stars we would. Moved from Texas and put everything in storage waiting for our house to get finished. After many delays the house was ready and the moving date was set. College hunks confirmed via text and email. We waited at the storage unit for their arrival. No arrival. A guy called and said they were running late. Don’t expect them to be on time. They say by 9am expect 11.
Was quoted $60 for 15 minutes to move. couch upstairs. Came time to pay… they added a trip charge and they also added a two hour minimum and so they were effectively jacking up the price. I will never go there again. The only reason they got two stars is the nice fellows that carried the couch, they were great!
