Called to get some help. He was off Standish and impersonal off the bat. He told me he wasn’t taking on any new clients at this time, and directed me to social securities website. Hard pass.
Martin did a phenomenal job of helping me to understand what was going to happen as well as explaining what occurred after our hearing and the ALJ's decision. He was very calm and competent in the courtroom which was a huge benefit to me. I highly recommend him.
I am not too happy or impressed. I feel I did most of the research and gathering of significant documents which the judge quoted in my decision. According to the billing log Mr. Cohen submitted to the judge, Mr. Cohen did not review my files until less than two weeks before my hearing, even though he had been my attorney for five months. In addition he mailed time-sensitive documents to my old address even seven months after my move.
