My son just started in January and he LOVES Code Ninjas! The team members are so good to him, very nice young men and so easy to work with. I am thankful to find something my son loves doing, he is so excited to reach the next belt level.
We have a problem with registering the kids every single time so we stand around waiting at the desk for things to be sorted. The final straw on the back was that I have had at least 2 emails go on, unanswered by them. They answer if you see them in person, but the communication is a bit backlogged. Their app is buggy, too, and wouldn't let me enroll my kid. Update: they responded to me.
Great experience for kids to experience and learn problem solving and develop analytical skills through fun video game programming. Must try for kids.
I feel very strongly that everyone should have at least a basic understanding of how computers work and how programming languages use logic to control everything they do, and Code Ninjas teaches this in a really fun and engaging way that doesn't depend on typing skills or even very advanced reading skills! Our boy enjoys going to Code Ninjas. Plus, he is learning to code using a self paced, well-planned curriculum. That’s a pretty good situation, imho :)
