A huge shout-out to two amazing delivery guys, Danell and Mohamed. Often the part of a sale that gets overlooked, these guys went above and beyond to help. I was a bit worried about whether our outdoor table would fit in our apartment elevator, and their immediate reaction was - lets have a look at the elevator. With some skill and determination, they made it work. They also made sure that our outdoor dining and coffee tables were carefully placed exactly where we wanted them. Thanks guys.
The biggest issue for me isn’t just the defective product, it’s the customer service. I purchased six Almonte concrete planters from Coco Republic / HD Buttercup (Jan 2025). One of them shattered after just a few months outdoors. The others, in the same conditions, are fine. That alone strongly suggests a defect. 2.8 star rating - let this be the very reason you do NOT shop at Coco Republic! Take a look at all the reviews, everyone is saying the same thing. They're very keen to take your money, but the after sales service is nothing short of appalling. Do NOT waste your time and mental strain shopping here, believe me.
I recently purchased three Stuttgart Counter Stools (priced at $1,845) from Coco Republic, Richmond. The stools were delivered on 1 October, and on delivery both the team and I immediately noticed that one of the chairs was scuffed. The delivery team took a photo, and I also took my own and forwarded it to Sarah Gardner at the store that same day.
