Guy with the laptop you need to work on your customer service skills. Atrocious. Came in to purchase a couch, bedside tables and lamps and didn’t even get a greeting. Greeted the couple that came in after us. That’s just not good enough at all.
As a former Coco Republic employee, I found this really disappointing. I visited the Chadstone showroom on a busy Friday afternoon to look at a few décor pieces and browse the range. Three staff members were sitting around a dining table and having a good old yarn about who knows what! Not one person greeted or acknowledged me. I walked around the entire showroom before leaving, and they were still sitting there chatting. I walked out without making a purchase. A very disappointing customer experience.
Extremely disappointed in the quality of a high-end dining table and the lack of support from Coco Republic. Our parquetry table is suffering from structural delamination—the wood is physically lifting and "springing" from the base. This is a manufacturing failure of the adhesive, yet Customer Care (Ellie) has dismissed this as "wear and tear" and hid behind a 5-year warranty that expired only months ago. A terrible customer service from a young, rude and arrogant lady. We walked in around 3.3pm on Sunday, she and a young man sitting at the table that we wanted to have a look at in details. She looked up and asked: Are You in the right store?....if you hated talking customer that much, you should not be in retail. Will never step foot in that store again because of her.
