My father moved into the Cobourg Retirement Residence about a year ago. It's been perfect for him. The staff have always been attentive and very helpful. Craig, the new manger has gone above and beyond when it comes to addressing my fathers concerns. It's a bonus that it's close to the downtown and the waterfront as my father likes to walk.

My father lived at CRR from 2018 through 2022. His care was always attentive even though he wasn't always the best behaved. The care definitely changed over the years due to ownership/management changes and Covid. However, there were no major outbreaks in the thick of the pandemic and the staff handled all extremely well. HORRIBLE!! Only rated as 1 as ZERO is not an option. This was one of the worst experiences ever. Understaffed, not trained, not at all what is presented or advertised. Seems the main motivation is $$$ not care. Would definitely NOT recommend this place to anyone.

Not impressed at all. Communication regarding the billing for my father's final month has been atrocious... incorrect charges combined with insufficient explanations left me feeling like they should do so much better.
