Sally has been doing my taxes for maybe a decade I think. I have referred friends and even the non profit organization I am on the board for. She has always been helpful, maximizing my refund and has always been flexible. Sally is a liberal Democrat. She makes it very clear on social media that she hates republicans. She even has a post about 86ing ( doing away with) President trump). Take your business elsewhere.
I was referred to Sally by a friend and truly it was one of the worst experiences. After she did last year’s tax return, I expected her help again this year. I emailed her six times starting in January through July about this year’s tax return and she still hasn’t directly responded (she did send an automated passive aggressive response about how she is indeed alive and can’t be expected to respond to clients’ emails). I’ve worked with Sally Trauco for five years, and up until recently, I trusted her with my taxes. But after discovering an incorrect cost basis one that caused me to overpay thousands in taxes, I reached out to her directly to discuss it and she never responded. That was over a month ago.
