My husband and I had the absolute pleasure of working with Ryan yesterday for our wedding in Corolla. He not only captured the day beautifully, but went way above and beyond to ensure that all of the important moments were memorialized and the ceremony and reception went flawlessly, suggesting the optimal timing for sunset photos. I wish I could rate more than 5 stars and cannot recommend Coastal Shots Photography highly enough for any OBX wedding and photography needs.
Ryan was absolutely amazing for our family photoshoot! He was the perfect balance of being efficient while allowing for flexibility in what pictures / poses we wanted (while also making sure we looked good in all of the photos!). We received the pictures in a timely fashion. This was our first photoshoot with our 9 month old daughter, and I’ll cherish these beautiful photos forever! If you’re in the OBX area looking for a photographer, I’d highly recommend.
Ryan was great to work with for our family beach photos. He was flexible, professional and the turn around time for getting our photos was awesome!
We absolutely love Ryan and Valerie! They were our wedding photographers in 2021 and later shot family photos in 2024. They are personable and build relationships with each family member, even if it’s only an hour long shoot. Ryan is great with kids and can get all the right angles. The turn around time between photo sessions and receiving the pictures is quick and the photography is very high quality. Would highly recommend for any event!
Words can't say how great Ryan was. He made us look great in the photos! He listened and executed it flawlessly. He will be taking our family OBX photos from now on. If you are looking for a photographer....book him! Best investment of the beach wedding. Can't say enough good things about him. 5 stars +++
